Saghira Hussain is The Oldham Group’s Alexandra Campaigner for 2027. Alexandra is represented on Oldham Council by two Oldham Group Councillors, Zaheer Ali and Shabir Hussain. Saghira is committed to listening to residents, supporting them, and working for a cleaner, safer and stronger Alexandra.

A Stronger St Mary’s

Kamran is a Councillor on Oldham Council and Leader of the Oldham Group. He is the Council’s Lead Member for Health and Adult Care, giving political oversight of adult social care, public health and support for vulnerable residents. As St Mary’s Campaigner for 2027, he works alongside St Mary’s Ward Councillors Aisha Kouser and Sonny Shah Arstan to stand up for local residents.

Ghazala Rana is The Oldham Group’s Waterhead Campaigner for 2027. A tutor in health and social care and operational management, she specialises in complex care, special needs and end-of-life care. For over 30 years she has volunteered and supported many local families, and will use that experience to stand up for Waterhead with Cllr Naveed Chowhan.
